My Bus Photos
Possibly the Last Traffic Roadway Dectector for Traffic Lights in Birmingham
19th October 2007

Many years ago as you approached a set of traffic lights in a vehicle the wheels of a bus/car/another would drive over a short stretch of rubber and steel, this device would in turn activate the traffic lights to go to red or green, in many of the the streets of the U.K. they are now rare as they have been replaced,

So is this the last last of the many I would think that it is the last of its type in Birmingham and really should be dug up and go to a museum this one can (for the moment be found on the corner of Moseley Rd and Highgate road,

This one as far as I know no buses would have run over it as it would have gone into a railway yard but I was anyroad up here are the photos,
